We run four competitions for our students, in order to give as many opportunities to moot as possible. They are open to different cohorts:
The GDL Moot Competition (GDL)
The City Scholars Moot (LLB, GELLB, LLM)
The Crown Office Moot (LLB2 & 3, GELLB & GDL)
The Senior Moot (BPTC, GDL, GELLB)
The rules for each of these competitions will be slightly different – ensure you read them carefully. The number of rounds will also differ – the GDL Moot has three rounds plus the final, the Crown Office two plus a final. Glamorous locations have been a feature of our internal moots, with the UK Supreme Court hosting the finals of the GDL, City Scholars Moot and Senior Moot last year.
The start of each of these moots is staggered - the GDL and City Scholars kicking off in October/November, the Senior Moot late in 2016 and then the Crown Office early in 2017.
