City has registered two teams for the LSE-Featherstone Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Moot .
Those interested in joining the teams should send their response to the following question by 1pm next Tuesday (22nd) to Emily, the Director of Mooting (email@example.com).
Read this decision: Elan-Cane, R (on the application of) v Secretary of State for the Home Department & Anor EWHC 1530 (Admin) (22 June 2018).
Elan-Cane has been given leave to appeal. What 2 grounds of appeal would you advise Elan-Cane to raise? Draft a 1 page A4 letter of advice, indicating the likely/possible responses of the SoS to those grounds, concluding with your estimation of the chance of success of the appeal.
This is a fantastic moot to be involved in, with a whole programme of talks and activities scheduled alongside the moot itself. I didn't get a write-up from the teams last year but you can read this from the year previous.
We look forward to receiving your applications!
