Want to compete in the Jessup?
City does not usually enter a team for the Jessup, but as the competition is all online this year we have decided to give it a shot.
It is the largest moot in the world and this year's problem concerns a global pandemic (hmmmm...wonder where they got that idea from..?).
Please look at the Jessup website for more info, including FAQs, the competition problem and the competitors guide. The page with dates and schedules can be found on the ILSA site.
In order for us to select a team we would like you to pen a response (1000 words max) to the following question:
What are the public international law consequences for the UK of the EU withdrawal amendment bill?
A warning: we don't have a huge number of international law specialists at City, so support may be limited. The Jessup will require a significant commitment of time for any member of the chosen team. Would advise only postgrads to apply (or undergrads with experience of the topic area)
Deadline 9am on the 19th October. As ever, send your submissions to Emily.
